PLAY TENNIS

"Play Tennis" is an elementary school program offered by the Academy on a weekly basis at a minimum cost to student. The program is designed to help young players in Grades 1 through 6 play the game quickly and successfully in a fun and safe environment. Play Tennis is offered in all three school semesters after school or during lunch hour on the gym floor for 1 hour at a time. Tennis rackets are available to those who may need one to use during the program. GIVE TENNIS A SHOT

"Give Tennis A Shot" [GTS] provides and opportunity for children in elementary schools across the province of Ontario to participate in Cardio Tennis. Through the program, students learn about the importance of regular physical activity as a part of a healthy lifestyle. At the heart Cardio Tennis is a fun cardiovascular workout and for many students this would be their first exposure to tennis, which fulfills the mandate of the Ontario Tennis Association [OTA] to gain new participants at the grassroots level.
